Hey there! Not really a newbie but wasn't sure where to post this and this situation is a first for me.

I made the Extra Strong Vintage Ale recipe from the website. It's only been a week and it's looking quite murky. Tastes pretty good already though (although extremely young:drunk:) I did have high hopes for this one.

Anyway I usually leave my brews in Primary until I'm satisfied with how clear they are then bottle. How long is too long? I'm not sure how normal this murky colour is as I haven't seen it before. Judging on taste I think it'll be ok.

Just putting it out there. Thanks!

I usually go 3 weeks. Most people on there will say a month. It will clear up on its own. If your nit in a hurry, give it a month, bottle, carbonate for 3 weeks, then stick them in the fridge for a few weeks.

Yeah I've gone a month before well a few times. I'm not in a rush I'm quite patient. Cooper's facebook says a month can spoil your beer. I don't see how that is possible as Ive done it before. Just wasn't sure if it was different with this recipe.
