Is there a way to tell when a CO2 canister is truly dead dead. I have one that is tank pressure zero but the adjustable pressure still reads 25psi. are then independent?

I can borrow another 75lb tank tomorrow but is the one I have dead dead? or just almost dead?

I borrowed THIS one when my 5lb leaked (my bad - didn't check all connections - found the bad one).

yes - weigh it - take all off and weigh it - it will have a dry weight stamped on tank - subtract that from total

The pressure gauge may be showing the pressure in the line from the keg. The easiest way I know is to disconnect the gas lines from the keg and then pull the prv. If it does not repressurize, you are pretty much empty.

Usually I find when the high pressure valve starts dropping you only have a couple pours left until its dead.
