If all else fails, you could soak it with some oxiclean/PBW.

Why would there ever be beer in it? It's for sanitizing.

A friend who was helping me spilled some beer in it and I completely forgot

Yes, my answer for old beer stuck on/in anything is a long soak in PBW or oxiclean. Though I did find a 4-5 year old bottle that must have been stored with 1cm of beer in it and oxiclean just couldn’t remove it no matter what.

I had one of these that worked really well. It would blast anything out of a bottle.

Now that I have a retractable faucet it doesn't really work. When you push down on a bottle it just pulls the faucet hose out.

You might need an adapter to fit your faucet depending on male/female and thread type.

Edit: I didn't read carefully. You already bought one
