Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has had any issue with oxidation in their experience with a double dry hop addition in a ferment bucket without purging it either time with CO2. I have never had any issue with a single dry hop addition, but I was wondering about a double dry hop addition. Again, not purging the vessel either time with CO2.

Cheers!

I do it all the time. 2 dry hops in the fermenter, 1 in a dry hop keg.

I typically add all my dry hopping in the fermenter in the first 5 days so my hope is that there is still some fermentation left to scrub any oxygen that gets in. I've yet to have any oxidation issues.

I wait until all fermentation is over to dry hop and if I have two additions they go in together. Why would I dry hop one, then dry hop the second a few days later and let the first one's aroma begin to die? Aroma only lasts for so long.
