I read it, but someone using BeerSmith2 setup their water profile for strike and sparge water and was able to have the slats needed for each under their needed addition. So if the strike water needed calcium 2 grams and strike only needed 0.5 grams it showed it in a way that just by looking at the recipe you knew how much went where.

Does anyone know how to do that? I am having a difficult time trying to remember this trick.

Thanks in advance.

don't know if this exactly answers your question but i use bru'n water's spread sheet. i never bothered with the water profile part of beersmith. in bru'n water it breaks down what to add to sparge and strike water seperately. Cheers.
