Don't chuck out your dead ipod mini's!

The hard disk on SWMBO's mini cratered and it was going to cost the same as a new nano to even get it looked at by apple. So, I dug around a bit and found this link and slapped a new CFII card in and voila! It fired right up without any problems. It also gets about 35hours of batt life now since it's not powering a mini HDD anymore. You could also put an 8Gig card in, but I chose the 4 since they are so cheap. New ipod for $60! Woot! Now I want to go find others that have bad drives!

there's a guy in NYC who does nothing but drive around fixing people's IPods. Thankfully, I've had mine for 7 months or so and I have had no problems.
