Well I am still a new brewer with my second batch under my belt, but I have some questions about it. Last weekend I went to the LHBS I was going to make the Cooper's Real Ale according to the directions on the package, but after some assistance from the owner, the recipe was altered a little. Here's what I settled with:

1 can Cooper's Real Ale Hopped Malt Extract (3.75 lbs)
2 lbs light LME
1.25 oz Centennial Hops (9.7 % AA)

I boiled this up according to his directions adding the hopps, and when it was all said and done, the gravity was a little lower than I had hoped, 1.047. Does this sound like it will come out drinkable? After racking to my primary I tasted the wort and it was definitely hoppy. I liked it, but some online searching makes me think I should have upped the fermentables a little.
