Does my porter recipe look right?

Hey guys, this is my first time brewing using my own recipe. I'm wondering if it looks right. I want to make sure I didn't over-do it on any one ingredient. Also, do you think this one would be good to use as a vanilla porter base? Any thoughts/ suggestions would be really helpful.

For 4-gallon BIAB:

6 lbs 8.0 oz (62.3%) American 2 Row
1 lbs 6.0 oz (13.2%) Munich Malt - 10L
1 lbs 2.0 oz (10.8%) Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L
10.0 oz (6%) Chocolate Malt - 400L
8.0 oz (4.8%) Oats, Flaked
5.0 oz (3%) Roasted Barley - 500 L

Hop Bill:

1.00 oz Willamette - Boil 60.0 min
0.75 oz Goldings, East Kent - Boil 60.0 min

Yeast:

1.0 pkg Safale American (Fermentis #US-05)
 
My only observation would be: Is a 6-ingredient grain bill really necessary? Some of those smaller additions might just get lost in the shuffle.

My basic Porter recipe uses 80% 2-row, 10% Caramel-Crystal 60L and 10% Chocolate. To that you can add your hop additions for an English style, or something like Galena for bittering and Cascade and/or Willamette for flavor/aroma and have an American style.

Your recipe will probably produce a tasty Porter. You might, however, accomplish the same result with a simpler/cheaper grain bill.

At a minimum I would drop the roasted barely completely, this is the main ingredient that makes a stout a stout. Porters are really a chocolate malt kinda beer so I'd add more chocolate malt. My .02c.
 
I agree with steig- cut the roast barley. I also think you have too much c60- that much will make it too sweet. I'd cut it down to 1/2 lb, and maybe add 3-4 oz. of c120. Also consider using 1 lb. of brown malt. That's a very traditional Porter ingredient. Check out Ray Daniel's 'Designing Great Beers' for some great suggestions.
 
Here is one I just kegged in I could almost drink it right from the fermenter. It is similar to what you are going for.

Batch Size: 5.5 gallons (fermentor volume)
Boil Size: 7 gallons

Efficiency: 80% (brew house)

10 lb - American - Pale 2-Row (76.9%)
0.5 lb - Belgian - Special B (3.8%)
1.5 lb - United Kingdom - Chocolate (11.5%)
1 lb - Flaked Oats (7.7%)

HOPS:
1 oz - Fuggles, Type: Leaf/Whole, AA: 4.5, Use: Boil for 60 min, IBU: 13.66
1 oz - Fuggles, Type: Leaf/Whole, AA: 4.5, Use: Boil for 10 min, IBU: 4.95

YEAST:
White Labs - Irish Ale Yeast WLP004
