My stout after almost three weeks in primary at 64°F still has a bit of haze. I plan to try some gelatin to fine it, but was wondering if fining would also remove active yeast, that is, would I need to add more yeast when bottling?

There should still be plenty of yeast for bottling. I don't know empirical data off the top.of my head to confirm this, but you should be fine. Kyle

Agree. There will be plenty of yeast left for bottling. I use cold crash and gelatin and have no problems.

I've used gelatin on my past 3 brews and the bottles carbonate just fine in 2 weeks.
