I searched for this, but couldn't find it . Maybe because its a dumb question. I am thinking of dropping from 5 gal to 2.5 gal batches so I can keep the pipeline stocked with a larger variety of brews (until I develop some house faves!).
Do recipes scale up and down in a linear way? Can I just cut 5 gal batch ingredients exactly in 1/2? Are there any exceptions?
