Do I need to have a full 5 gal in my corney?

New to kegging. I was planning to keg my first beer here shortly, I brewed a 5 gal batch but it seems to have a lot of trub/sediment.

Does putting 3.5 or 4 gals into a 5 gal keg have any effect? If so... I guess I will bottle.

nah, you're fine, just make sure to hit the relief valve a couple times to purge the oxygen
