DIY Basement Bar Room Build

Contemplated whether or not I wanted to post this yet considering it's in the very early stages. I started putting together my basement bar last weekend. The bar was built in pieces by a co worker and we assembled it when everything was in place at my house. My two tap kegerator is behind the bar. Got a TV mount for our old bedroom TV off of Amazon for $17.

Still need to re-finish the drywall I had to cut out to install a new electric panel when I bought the house a few months ago. I also plan on cabinets along the back wall. Like I said, early stages, so if anyone has ideas please chime in! I hope to get the bar seats in a week or so. I'll post more pictures as progress is made.

My brewery aka Grainfather is in the other half of the basement which is unfinished. Thanks for looking!

Tiny bit of progress. Got the seating and an unfinished cabinet up to cover the electric panel. I'm going to paint it when I build my new keezer. Nice to have that extra bit of storage. Slowly getting there.

Wow! Nice, tidy little keezer! I've been holding off building one for lack of space, but that was looking at 6 taps. Two should be enough for now, at least to get me into kegging and off the damned bottling! Would you mind posting some more pics and details about the build?

Thanks! I posted a whole thread on it in the keezer section of the forums, but I'll post some build pics here too!

It was a very easy build. Used a 2x6 for the collar and used small brackets to hold it together. Then I took the lid off of the freezer and used liquid nails to attach the collar to the freezer. After that cured, I screwed the lid onto the collar and caulked the inside. I used a 1" hole saw for my taps.
