Dip tube problems.

Hey. I have now tried two kinds of dip tubes. The hop stopped that comes with one and the new one Northern brewer came out with. Neither work. It always stops flowing when the goes below the hole in the kettle.

I am extremely frustrated. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

do you have a hose coming off the valve on the kettle to create a siphon? Without that it will no suck lower than the valve.

That or you do not have a good enough seal at the diptube.

Tilt the kettle? It's what I do to get the last bit of wort with my Blichmann.

Well that was fast. yeah the tube worked. I was just trying it pouring into my sink with water no tube. I don't remember it ever being said somewhere. I guess I'm stupid. Thanks again guys.
