I just noticed some weird dimple indentations on the side of a dry yeast pack. Not sure if the freeze dried yeast got compressed during shipment or what, but is this safe to use or should I toss it and use another?

It just looks like it got squeezed a little hard. Those packs are pretty resilient. As long as it's still got a vacuum inside you're fine.

They're not vacuum sealed. Just squeeze it and if it stays slightly puffed up there's most likely no puncture, and safe to use. Re-hydrate according to their instructions for best results.
