Did I use enough fruit?

I made a mead with redcurrants and wildflower. I used 3kg of red currants and about 3,2kg of honey, in a total volume of 10-11 liters.

6.5 pounds in a 2.3 gallons in imperial.

It has finished fermenting, but I get barely any red currant flavor. Did I use enough redcurrants, or should I add more honey to raise the abv and chuck in two 500ml bottles of redcurrant juice?
 
I might suggest you add the juice. That will raise the ABV some if it ferments. Also adds some flavor. Then adjust from there.
