Desert Hackberry

Anyone try Desert Hackberries in their beer or know of anyone who has? They grow out here in AZ and have a sweet, almost strawberry like, flavor. Always looking to try something new

Never heard of Desert Hackberries... are they just a local AZ thing? I drive thru AZ a few times a year .. would love to grab some and try them out as well. Where do you find them? Local grocery store? Road side stands?

Never seen them sold anywhere. I know a few places where they grow wild and I can harvest them
