Hi all,
I'm sitting here enjoying my first brew, a Northern Brewer Kit Bock. All-in-all, quite tasty, and the seemingly anal-retentive attention to sterilizing seems to have paid off!
I have a XX clone about to go into a carboy tomorrow night, and 5 gallons of Ed Wort's Afpelwein in carboy number two!
I don't keg, and since I have a very small place, its nowhere in my near future. A fun adventure has been finding bottles, including Magnum Champagne bottles!!!!
A trip to a friend's to share a few beers only required one bottle-a neat bonus!
This forum has already been very helpful and I have found a great deal of info simply by lurking and searching.
I'm hoping to learn more about yeast, how to re-use yeast in a fermenter, and how to culture yeast.
