My chest freezer died a couple weeks ago and I found a Danby 11 cubic foot freezerless fridge for $100 on Facebook. Picked it up last week and got it converted over this weekend. Still need to finish up some things to really finalize it. This will fit 4 kegs in the top shelf and another in the bottom along with my CO2 tank.
Pulled the door panel out (held in with screws that also hold the seal in place). Cut a piece of FRP (fiberglass reinforced panel) and drilled holes for the screws.
Marked the inside of the door panel for the shank locations after measuring from the outside.
Holes drilled with a 1-1/6" hole saw and 3/4" PVC spacers installed.
Drip tray and shanks mounted.
Cut a half inch plywood panel for the keg shelf and attached my CO2 manifold to the underside. I'll be adding some 2x2 supports to this before fully loading it up.
With two pin-lock (converted to ball lock posts) kegs in place. Still need to move the thermostat to the top of the fridge to improve the loading and unloading of kegs from the right side.
I'll get a finished picture tonight.
