I'm getting ready to place an order but I want some feedback on an extract IPA recipe. Just a 3-gal batch for now, until I get the recipe perfect...I want something hoppy but not overly bitter (hence the late hop additions), light in color but with subtle earthiness (from the peated malt).

6 lb- NB Gold LME
1 lb- British peated malt
1 oz- Cascade @ 60 min
1 oz- Cascade @ 45 min
Whirlfloc @ 15 min
0.5 oz- NZ Green Bullet @ 10 min
0.5 oz- Millennium @ 5 min
0.5 oz- NZ Green Bullet @ 0 min
0.5 oz- Millennium @ 0 min
Danstar Nottingham Ale yeast

If I've done my figuring correctly, this should put me at about the mid-7% ABV range and mid-90 IBU range.

Any suggestions? I don't know much about which hops go together well, so advice on that would be helpful.

Hops look good but 1 lb of peated malt will KILL this beer!! Peated malt can get nasty in large amounts. I'd sub that pound of peated malt for a lb of Vienna or Munich malt.
