Just thought I'd share my little experiment/fix from this morning. I have a Coke keg (pin lock) that was leaking CO2 + beer from the poppets.
I took it apart this morning, and I was able to replace the o-ring with a #36 o-ring from Home Depot. It fit perfectly.
Here''s the exploded view of a Coke-Style poppet. The base "legs" part is removed by compressing the spring and turning the legs until it comes off the post. Reinstall is done the same way.
I'm pretty certain that Pepsi kegs use similar poppets.
No more leaks!
