Just recently acquired for free 6 Corco Pinlock kegs, three of which came with the post fittings....

Question 1. Is Corco the Cornelius Company????

Question 2. They all contain lids with an internal pressure release valve; How do these valves work?

2a Because these are internal P.R.V. is there a way to manually release the pressure built up without having to push a poppet valve in????

Question 3. These are the short and squat kegs, will the lids be compatible with the taller slim jim cornys???

I have been using the Pepsi slim Jims for over a decade but couldn't pass these Coke ones up because they were free with fittings, Just don't no anyone who uses them....Any help would be appreciated....

You've gotta depress the poppet manually, make sure you do it to the Gas post too, the two-pin guy. The valves are a failsafe in case pressure goes above the max rating,

I think you can get replacement lids with the manual pressure release valves, but why spend money you don't have to?
