How are what do you use to clean your boil coil. I am constantly trying to keep it clean and it is an effort. Have given thought to changing to induction heating to make cleanup easier. I would appreciate your thoughts

I fill my kettle with hot water and PBW. I let the element rock at 100% for about 5 minutes and recirc through the pump/whirlpool. I then cut everything off and let it sit for about an hour. I use a soft scrub pad to get anything stuck on, drain, rinse, and dry. Stays pretty shiny.

Hot water and PBW re-circ'd through the pump then a wipe down. I don't obsess over it being shiny. If it doesn't have residue on it then it's good enough for me.

Thanks fellows, I was trying to avoid removing the coil and scrubbing it down with Bar Keepers Friend.
