Cider Priming question???

I just mooved my Cider into a secondary to clarify before bottleing but am wondering how much brwn sugar to add when bottleing. Ive read different recipes on says 3/4 cup per gallon which seems like way to much and another says 3/4 cup total for five gallons. Ill be bottleing in 22 oz size. I also have carb tabs that I might use.

your instincts are right on...3/4 to five gallons, just like beer

just like for beer. i use an online calculator and shoot for about 2 vol CO2

And measure it by weight not volume, you can pack brown sugar down a fair bit
