All I have to say is wow, what a difference a few days in the fridge makes after 2 weeks of carbonating. I was getting excited about my first batch, so I was tossing them in the freezer to chill them quickly. They tasted OK that way, but a few days in the fridge makes a world of difference..

Patience ALWAYS pays off in homebrewing

Where can I buy some of this patience? I suspect that I am running a serious deficit of that stuff.

Cold does wonders for beer.

Now that it is winter, at least here in IA.

I like to sit my secondary out in the gargage before bottling. It really clears the beer up and makes a nice crisp taste.

Something you could try if you like.
