Does anyone use centrifuges in wine or beer making ? Two common uses are, to mechanically clarify finished wine or to spin off yeast and other solids out of the wine. Some large wineries use centrifuges also to dewater wine waste. Let me know how your brewery or winery uses centrifuges ?

Pretty much every large brewery uses them, either hot side or cold side or both.

Do they use vertical plate style centrifuges (bowl) or like the one in my pic horizontal tube style centrifuges? The few I have seen in the production side, are bowl style and wastewater side are decanter centrifuges. Just curious your thoughts ?
