I am brewing beer for my wedding, and have 2 corny kegs of a Honey Hefeweizen and 2 cornys of Carmel Porter. The hefe has come out exactly the same keg to keg, but one of my porters came in with a low ABV, at about 3% instead of 5%. Is a 3% ABV a bad beer? It tastes fine, just a bit less "bite" than the other. Just curious about some thoughts here. Nothing I can do about it now, and not worried about it. Just curious.

Thanks guys!

was it 3% because it didn't attenuate as much or because you had less of a starting gravity?

I don't think it attenuated correctly. Not sure why, as I didn't do anything different from the first batch.

ABV doesn't make a beer good or "bad". If it tastes good, there can't be anything bad!
