Carboy 1 Turkey Baster 0

Was just checking the gravity on a DFH 60 minute IPA that I made last weekend and my turkey baster decided it wanted to separate with the tube portion going into the carboy. Any creative thoughts at retrieving it? I'm going to dry hop starting on Monday for a week then going to bottle so I just might let it ride.

Yeah, let it ride. In the mean time I'd look into a plastic wine thief, no risk of it ejecting a section into your beer.

If you sanitized it, then leave it in there.

I've got an o ring in one of my kegs on tap right now, it accidentally came off when I was closing the corny up. Like Revvy said, so long as you're sanitizing everything, you're okay.
