Anyone know the right amount of corn sugar to use to carb just a gallon of cider? I want to make 1 gallon batches and then bottle it but I don't know how much priming sugar to add.
I just made a gallon of cider, I used half a teaspoon per bottle, putting it directly into the bottle. It turned out pretty well, carbonation wise anyhow.
How long did you let it sit in the primary before bottling? I also have a 1 gal batch going for about 5 days now and it's already clear and barely bubbling. I am just worried about too much of the yeast settling out to properly carbonate the cider.
