I brewed a 2 1/2 gallon half batch yesterday. Without thinking I pitched the same amount of yeast that I would for a full 5 gallon batch. Is that gonna be ok. Can you add too much yeast?

It is possible to over pitch, but if using dry yeast and just doubling from 2.5 to 5 gallon packet you should be fine. Some yeasts are more aggressive than others but that isn't too much to make a taste or fermentation difference this time.
