I picked up and Oktoberfest kit from a LHBS recently and they gave me the Wyeast Cali Lager strain. I have done sled to this date since I dont have any way to lager.

I ferment at 68F and the Wyeast chart said that is the highest range for the strain. I can block off my spare bedroom and put a towel under the door and I have right around 60 deg.

My only concern is the weather outside. Right now its around the mid 40s in the day and around 30 at night. I'm just worried about the weather getting warmer in the next 3 or so weeks wen I fement.

Is 68 ok to ferment at? I can hold that all year long. Or should I try the 60 deg spare bedroom? I don't have a basement and will be brewing this Sunday. Thanks!
