hello,

I need some help in calculating est. cell growth in a yeast starter. I always used yeastcalc.com up until today. Tried to load the page, and the domain expired.....

Well, the site would allow you to input all the important info, and then you could calculate out three generations based upon inoculation, viability, starter size, etc.

I have an old vial of WL072. IF i can get it to grow past this first gen, in a 2L starter, I need to calculate out what it will take to grow up to ~600 billion for 10g of 1.073.

Again, if this will grow, it has a beginning viability of 11%.

Any pointers please??

Thanks

Caleb
