Im going to start biab soon and i have a keggle and a darkstar 2.0 burner. Will the burner be sufficient to boil 8 gallons? Or should I be saving for a bigger burner?

The bigger burners like the Blichmann are not required, but they are a worthwhile investment once you are sure this is a hobby you want to invest in. They do heat up a bit faster (put out more BTU's), are quieter and are a bit more gas efficient. I love my Blichmann burner, but I started on something equivalent to the DS 2.0 and it worked fine.

Oh, the hobby has consumed me. [emoji12] Ive spent hundreds on equipment and whatnot. Ive got a brewpi controlled fermentation chamber that is very precise and accurate. I just needed to up my game in the brewing department. Thats why I'm switching to biab.
