Brown sugar addition to Smashing Pumpkin Ale

So I am brewing up a NB extract kit of their Smashing Pumpkin Ale. I am thinking of adding some brown sugar. Should I add it at the beginning or end of the boil. I was thinking about 10 min before flameout.
 
It will boil off and you would lose all the flavor you want to get out of the sugar. The same goes for other adjuncts as well.
