Anyone have an extract recipe for a good dark brown ale? I want to make one for Fall. I have the DFH 60 Minute IPA dry hopping right now and as soon as I bottle it, I want to get another brew going.

I had a great brown ale at the Union Kitchen & Tap in Encinitas a few weeks back and can’t remember the damn name. It was great and had a real nice coffee undertone to it. The first few letter were like “BSM” or…. ? I was probably a lil too :drunk:

I have BeerSmith if anyone has the extract recipe in their database.

Thanks! :)

3.3 lbs. Amber liquid malt extract
3.3 lbs. Dark liquid malt extract

12 oz. Caramel 80L
2 oz. Special B
2 oz. Roasted Barley

1 oz. Cascade (60 mins)
1 oz. Fuggle (5 mins)

72 degrees for 1 week primary and 72 degrees for 2 weeks in the secondary

I am sipping on it right now and its delicious. Perfect after 3 weeks in the bottle.
