So for all of you guys out there who want to build a nice new brewstand and plan on using a gas manifold system with valves for the burners keep in mind, that running a regulator off of the tank to the manifold then out to the valves creates a pressure problem. When the regulator is setup to run 1 burner and two burners need to be on, then there may not be adequate pressure available to run both burners and on the other side of the equation, when you have the pressure turned up for two or even three burners, then two of them shut off, you enter the realm of really @#$#% high pressure. To compensate for this, run individual gas regulators off of the manifold for each valve in the line. So for a typical brew stand with HLT, MASH and BOIL burners will require 4 regulators.
Regulator 1 - high pressure off of tank to pressurize gas manifold.
Regulator 2 - 4 , in my case, low pressure regulators run in the line going to each gas valve to create back pressure in line and equalize all 3 burner pressures regardless of how many are lit at any given time.
