Brewery naming etiquette?

I figured you knew if your in/around Yakima. it was more for other people who wouldn't have any clue what the hell I was talking about (calling something Yakistan could be seen as wildly racist/ignorant etc. w/o some context). Still think that last sentence holds true.

Typically fanciful/creative names are the easiest to trademark (like Google) and are usually more memorable. What if you just came up with a new word that mashes things together? Noctowl? Owly? Hooty? Beakbreaker?
