Hopefully a simple question on brew day procedure:
How are the accessories (pump, hoses, chiller, etc.) that are not necessary for fermentation effectively cleaned following brew day? I don’t imagine these are left attached to the conical and can only think that they are completely disassembled and rinsed/cleaned in a sink to prevent mold.
If the typical method is disassembling and cleaning in a sink, would it be better to have a second kettle with tri clamp fitting to flush and recirculate cleaning solution and water rinse? What techniques are you using to clean brew day only items?
Help me understand because this style system is very appealing.
