Do i need to do anything with a sparkling clean new copper chiller before it's first use. I know to put it in the boil for 15 minutes, but didn't know if I had to do anything else?

It's a good idea to give it a soak in white vinegar and water and a light green scratchy scrubbing to get rid of any gook/flux. Some people also boil theirs in water before using it so that anything that is going to come off of the chiller from boiling temps comes off in that and not their beer.

when I made mine I mixed up some white vinegar and water and boiled the IC in that in my keggle for a few minutes. That baby was shiny as could be after that!

I didn't have any white vinegar so when I was preboiling mine I added a 1/2 ounce of starsan to the boil water, since both vinegar and starsan are weak acids.
