Bottle from a tap?

I just got my kegerator project finished and now I'm able to reep the benefits of kegging.

There is a competition I wanted to enter in a few weeks with a brew that's ready to be bottled or kegged right now. I'm just wondering if anyone has filled a bottle out of the tap and capped it?

I need to submit 2 bottles for the competition but other than those two I'd rather just have this kegged. Can I do this and keep it carbed?
