I am interested. Just have to see if it will fit in my kettle. What diameter kettles is it designed for? What is the coil diameter?

I'd love to go electric. Does anyone know if you can just plug it into a Johnson A419?

It has a twist lock plug. You can see it in the picture. Plus there is no way you can run that kind of current thru those crappy JC controllers. You need to have a relay and with basic on-off control you can use a mechanical relay rated for 120V 20A across the contacts and 120V on the coil.
