and in mid section of carboy.... wont go down... its been 11 days... i switched to carboy too early at 5 days...
 
AWESOME!!!!!!

One of the coolest things I've seen is the yeast "bergs".

In a really BLACK beer, they are awesome.

Mine did slowly dissolve, but re-surfaced.

I think high temps may contribute, I never see them anymore.
 
kool ill post pics when my roommate gets back.... i was thinkin of bottling on the 26 which is almost 2 weeks in the carboy 19 days total...its a pale ale

Actually, if the yeast is afloat and concenrated into yeastbergs, you ought to be able to syphon with very little sediment.

Not sure what causes this.

My brew that did that was a 10% or so ABV stout, probably fermented in slightly warmer than ideal temps.
