I made My fist AG Belgian with a OG of .100 on 1/19/2012 it went two weeks and got down to a gravity of .030 and then stopped , I knew it was not down in gravity so I pitched a champagne yeast to kick it in the a$$ and it ,,,, till this day is still fermenting down it is currently at .018 i think its ending the end of primary fermentation but in the carboy is still bubbling (not the air lock but the beer) tinny bubbles running up the glass .
I used a big starter 1388 in 1 lte then after 48hrs split it into two in half and made 2 --1lter .
QUESTION ?? DO High gravity beers take longer to ferment out ? over 1 month ?
