Best recipe for first all-grain brew?

How long will this particular mild take to carb, in your opinion? I have primed it to achieve around 1.5-1.8 volumes of CO2.

It's been kegged and bottled for just over a week... should I sample tonight or leave it for a while longer?

I would stil give it three weeks, maybe throw a bottle in the fridge at week two to check progress, but for conditioning in bottles or kegs I try to give them the three week standard.
