OK guys (and perty ladies)...i want to know your favorite brews. This is like the Oscars of Beers. We've got categories. I want...

Favorite Brew (best overall)
Favorite Homebrew (include name and style if applicable)
Favorite MicroBrew
Favorite Microbrewery (overall best microbrewery, include a reason too)
Favorite Style
and last but not least (we all learned to drink on them), Favorite lawnmower beer. ie coors light, miller, etc...something corporate like that



PS....this thread is brought to you by Sam Adams Harvest Collection Variety Pack. Tried the Pumpkin (one of my favorite styles), Irish Red, and Boston Lager. Must vote on Boston Lager so far to be honest with you. But still have the Black Forest Lager, Oktoberfest, and Dunkleweizen to go.

PPS...since i'm a bit of a lightweight and have been "tasting" a while now, we better throw in best looking girl to the voting too.


My Picks...

Best overall: Hate to do this, but its a tie between Guinness and Pilsner Urquel
Best Homebrew: My Chocolate Oatmeal "Dis Sur am good!" full grain Stout
Best Microbrew: Ska Brewing True Blonde
Best Microbrewery: Troegs Brewery Harrisburg PA. Consistently good across the board.
Best Style: Pumpkin Ales and Oktoberfests. I'll drink the rest, but I must attest...Fall Styles are best, Fall styles are best.
Best Lawnmower Beer: Strong feelings for Keystone Light (its the beer I learned to like in college), but this one has to go with The Banquet Beer...Coors Original. I still buy cases of this stuff occasionally. Not bad tasting, and it comes from where my heart is...Colorado...

ok....enough of that....

Best looking girl...? My vote is for Natalie Portman...she's a hands down hottie

... I just saw the favorite lawnmower part, but that doesn't apply to me anyways because I had been drinking beer for almost a year before I ever had a beer from BMC.
