Dear Home Brewers,
My brother Kevin Dennis and fellow Brew Brother, "Greenwood Rover,"
passed away on August 8th, 2009 of an undetected heart defect. He left
behind his wife Laura and their two children Jack (4) Quinn (2).
To celebrate Kevin's life and to help raise money for his son's
education, we are hosting The Kevin Dennis Family Benefit. The event
will take place on August 28th at the Irish American Heritage Center,
located at 4626 N. Knox Ave. Chicago, IL 60603. The cost is $30 at the door,
$25 in advance and includes food, drink, beer and live music.
The home-brew board was very important to Kev. He loved to read the posts of fellow brewers to gain advice on how to craft better beers. We hope to be able to share this one-time event with his fellow brewers.
There are many ways to help make this event a success!
