SWMBO and I thought we had a gallon or two of a Heady Topper-inspired DIPA in the kegerator. Had shrimp biryani last night, looking forward to pairing them.... But it was all gone. First time I've felt a real sense of sadness. Both bummed, still angry, too generous with my friends.

She was a good one, onto the next I guess.

My condolences... Had a similar experience last Saturday with my Rye IIPA. Really wanted something extra strong and extra hoppy and thought there was maybe a gallon left. Go to fill my glass and get the dreaded hiss/sputter as soon as I went to pour

Someone should make a beer level gauge that you can sit on your cooler, maybe with a warning buzzer, flashing lights.....

I even did that thing where you touch it to see where it feels colder and thought, "Nice! A good gallon left!"
