beast mode

Hello
I am new to brewing(never made a batch yet) I ordered a kit from brewmasterwearhouse called beast mode. After a few days it arrived and I went back on site to look up directions and print them out. Unfortunately they are saying the author took it down so I really don't know what to do. Hoping some has brewed this before on this site or maybe the author is on here. As I said I am very new so any help would be appreciated. Here is the order list

Steep caramel pils in grain bag for 15min in 2.5 gallons of 154 degree water.
Start boil and add extracts while stirring.
Add Columbus at start of boil.
Add magnum at 45 or 30. How bitter you want it?
Add centennial at 15.
Add cascade at 5 minutes.
Add water to make 5 gallons and transfer to fermenter.
Add yeast and put on airlock.

With no experience, probably should have started with a complete kit. Brewmaster you are making someone else's concotion. Well good luck and hope this batch doesn't discourage you from future brewing.

Here's a guess. It's probably close enough:

Steep the Caramel Pils in 3 gallons of H2O at 159 deg.
Remove from heat, add the extract and stir until dissolved
Bring to a rolling boil
Add the Magnum and Columbus hops and boil for 60 min
With 15 min left add the Centennial
With 5 min left or at flame out add the Cascade
Cool wort to less than 100 deg and pour aggressively into the fermenter
Top off with H2O to make five gallons.

Rehydrate and pitch US-05 per directions.

One of the bittering hops may be a 45 min boil instead of 60 but either will be good.

Thanks so much, I guess to my confusion I thought these were like kits. Oh well hopefully all will come out and def want to continue brewing so this will not effect anything

Columbus Pellets .5 oz @ Dry


SAFALE US-05 American Ale 1 ea


There's your Hop schedule at least. The caramel Pils are going to be your steeping grains (see ravenshead's post above).
