flavors not favors...so pissed I can't type....crap...I just ruined my saison. I have an awesome recipe that I was trying to make just a tad more "earthy" by adding a little natural apricot extract (2 ounces). It would seem (upon tasting what's going into the bottle) I've made apricot beer. I will drink it, but it was NOT what I was looking for. if two ounces is too much...dang...I have no idea how much to add...

Cost of tuition..! Gotta go easy... add a little... taste... adjust...

Give it some time though... the flavor may mellow into something pretty good..!

I did that with Blueberry in a Blonde Ale. I am not drinking it that fast, but I am noticing the flavor is mellowing real nice after about 4 weeks in the bottle.

well, isn't that interesting..... I cracked open the apricot saison after one week in the bottle...a little flat as expected, but tastes nothing like apricots. yeasts are amazing. only the slightest hint of flavoring.
