Ok got one for the info nuts. Looking to find out the differences between bavarian wheat and light pilsen dme. Currently im using light pilsen but was wondering what things would change with the use of Bavarian wheat?

Well for one, the pilsen DME is made with pilsener malt, while the Bavarian wheat is made with wheat malt.

pilsen is pilsen, wheat is (depending on brand), 65% wheat, 35% light. wheat doesn't attenuate out quite as much, so ends up sweeter. also ends up with a different flavor. not sure what you want. kinda like comparing apples and pomegranates

Thats pretty much what i was getting at was what effects it would have switxhing to BW i know its hard to compare cause couldnt get anything searching it in a nut shell my ale will still be ale just a little sweeter basically?
