Soooo...yesterday I brewed a Maharaja clone. This morning I was gone from 8-11am and when I checked on the status of my carboy/blowoff assembly, I had apparently crimped the tube and had a full blowout onto the low ceiling of my bar and splatter on the walls, etc. there is no telling how long it was like that but not too terribly long as everything wasn't soaked (although wet).
Is contamination a real possibility or does anyone think the positive pressure of the fermenter would expell most contaminants?
